Reassignment Applicants: Eligible Reassignment clients should contact their Disability Counselor for assistance. he Department of Medicine (DOM) is the largest department within the UCSD School of Medicine and is responsible for fulfilling the teaching, research, and clinical missions of the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. The department employs over 450 full time faculty, 322 residents, fellows and postdocs and 480 staff personnel. After the establishment of the Cardiovascular Institute, the division of Cardiovascular Medicine has grown to include 70+ faculty members. Our research space is co-located within several buildings on and off campus including the Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute (ACTRI), the Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center and on the La Jolla campus, the Salk institute for biological studies, the Biomedical Research Facility-2 and the San Diego VA Medical Center. Serves as a program coordinator for the UC San Diego Bioinformatics, Epidemiology, and Lp(a) Center for Research and InnOvatioN (BEACON) Research Team with the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of analytical practices, policies and procedures; researches, analyzes and develops solutions to a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Collaborates with internal and external entities as part of project development and implementation, as well as program advancement. Primarily deals with policies, programs and proposals which are complex in nature and diverse in scope. Develops new programs, policies or procedures for possible implementation.
