Position Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to drive sales growth and market development of heat transfer fluids (HTF) and thermal management solutions within the rapidly growing data center industry. This role will develop strategic relationships with hyperscalers, colocation providers, engineering firms, contractors, OEMs, and consultants while influencing product specifications and supporting projects from design through implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development and profitable revenue growth within the data center market.
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with hyperscalers, colocation providers, engineering firms, contractors, OEMs, and other key stakeholders.
- Influence product specifications and design decisions for new construction and retrofit projects.
- Provide technical presentations, product recommendations, and customer support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop strategic account and territory plans to expand market share and long-term customer relationships.
- Manage quoting, pricing, P&L, contract negotiations, and customer agreements.
- Identify opportunities related to liquid cooling, immersion cooling, AI, high-performance computing, and emerging thermal management technologies.
- Partner cross-functionally with technical, operations, supply chain, customer service, and marketing teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Represent the company at key industry organizations and events and provide market insights to leadership.
Education, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
- 7+ years of industrial, technical, or strategic account sales experience preferred.
- Proven success selling into data centers, HVAC, industrial fluids, chemicals, cooling systems, or related markets.
- Experience managing strategic accounts and large project opportunities.
- Experience with heat transfer fluids, coolants, glycols, thermal management systems, or specialty chemicals.
- Knowledge of liquid cooling technologies and data center infrastructure.
- Experience with specification-driven sales and familiarity with ASHRAE standards or data center cooling practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
