Job Summary:

The ESOP Capital Advisors Intern supports the ESOP Advisory team by assisting with data collection, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and project deliverables for ESOP feasibility and transaction projects. This internship provides exposure to the fundamentals of ESOP structuring, tax and accounting considerations, and transaction execution. The intern gains hands-on experience in financial analysis, industry research, and client deliverable preparation, while developing a foundational understanding of ESOP advisory and investment banking processes. The role offers opportunities to collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to client engagements across various industries.

Job Duties:

  • Assists with data collection and organization for ESOP feasibility and transaction projects
  • Supports financial modeling assignments, including valuation and leveraged buy-out models
  • Conducts industry and company research to support project analysis and client deliverables
  • Prepares draft client deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations and Confidential Information Memorandums
  • Assists in the development of marketing materials and internal documentation
  • Collaborates with team members to meet project deadlines and client expectations
  • Participates in meetings and communicates professionally with colleagues
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, required
  • Completion of junior year of Bachelor's program, preferred

Experience:

  • Prior internship or leadership experience, preferred

Certifications:

  • N/A

Licensure:

  • N/A

Software:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required

Language:

  • Spanish, preferred

Other Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Solid analytical and research skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Understanding of basic accounting and valuation methodologies
  • Ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

California Range:$28.00/hr - $32.00/hr
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $28.00/hr - $32.00/hr
Virginia Range: $28.00/hr - $32.00/hr
