Graphic Designer

Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly crafted, visually sophisticated Mid-Level Graphic Designer to support a Global Social creative team. This role will help translate ambitious creative direction into a distinctive, culturally relevant, and elevated visual language across social channels.

In this role, you will design high-quality creative assets and flexible visual systems for a global social creative team.

You'll partner with creative leadership, senior art directors, copywriters, producers, editors, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate creative direction into distinctive work across campaign extensions, editorial storytelling, athlete content, cultural moments, motion assets, and recurring social formats. This includes developing graphic approaches that create consistency without making work feel formulaic, templated, or overly systematized.

You will contribute visual ideas, references, and design concepts that improve the work beyond the initial brief. You will apply strong creative judgment to determine when graphic design should take the lead and when imagery, film, performance, or narrative should be the focal point.

You will also support ongoing social creative needs, helping maintain and evolve visual systems, content formats, and design resources that contribute to the creative team's overall success and visual consistency.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Background in graphic design, brand identity, editorial, campaign, digital, social, art direction, or visual storytelling.

  • Experience within a creative agency, independent design studio, fashion or luxury brand, editorial environment, cultural institution, music or entertainment company, or other conceptually ambitious design-led organization is preferred.

  • Experience contributing to visual identities and graphic systems across multiple formats and touchpoints.

  • A portfolio showing strong work across identity, campaign, editorial, digital, motion, environmental, or other design applications is highly valued.

  • Experience in premium lifestyle, apparel, footwear, fashion, sport, culture, art, music, entertainment, or editorial environments is a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • This opportunity is remote and requires availability during Pacific Time working hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. PT.

  • Candidates located outside the West Coast must be able to reliably maintain the required schedule.

  • Los Angeles-based candidates are preferred due to possible future on-site expectations.

  • This engagement is expected to last 3 months, with potential quarterly extensions based on business needs and performance.

  • There may be a potential full-time conversion opportunity in 2027; conversion is not guaranteed, and full-time compensation would be evaluated separately from contractor rates.

  • The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $40-$45per hour.

  • This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length-of-service and hours-worked requirements.
