What You'll Do

As a Supervisor, you'll lead daily airport parking and transportation operations while supervising a diverse team of frontline employees. You will help ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations while maintaining LAZ standards and client expectations.

Operations Leadership



  • Supervise day-to-day airport parking, transportation, and customer service operations.
  • Lead frontline teams including Cashiers, Valet Attendants, Shuttle Drivers, Customer Service Representatives, and License Plate Inventory (LPI) Agents.
  • Monitor facility operations to ensure efficient traffic flow and positive customer experiences.
  • Coordinate staffing assignments and daily operational coverage.
  • Respond to operational issues and customer concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all operations are performed safely and in compliance with company, airport, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with airport stakeholders and management teams to support operational needs.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support special projects, peak travel periods, weather events, and irregular operations.


Team Leadership & Development



  • Lead, coach, and motivate frontline employees.
  • Conduct daily briefings, shift meetings, and operational communications.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and development programs.
  • Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance expectations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and service excellence.
  • Recognize employee achievements and support career development opportunities.
  • Assist with employee relations matters and corrective action processes when necessary.


Customer Experience & Service Excellence



  • Ensure exceptional service delivery across all customer touchpoints.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Support service recovery efforts to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor customer interactions and coach team members on service standards.
  • Ensure customers receive accurate information regarding airport parking, shuttle transportation, valet services, and facility operations.
  • Promote a welcoming and professional environment for travelers and guests.


Shuttle & Transportation Operations



  • Assist in coordinating daily shuttle transportation operations.
  • Monitor shuttle schedules, fleet availability, and service levels.
  • Support Shuttle Drivers in maintaining safe and efficient transportation services.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and applicable transportation regulations.
  • Coordinate responses to operational delays, traffic disruptions, and service interruptions.
  • Support vehicle inspection and reporting processes.


Revenue Control & Administrative Support



  • Assist with revenue control procedures and operational audits.
  • Monitor cashier operations and ensure proper handling of cash and electronic transactions.
  • Review reports related to parking transactions, validations, and operational activity.
  • Support payroll review, scheduling, and timekeeping accuracy.
  • Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements.
  • Monitor labor hours and staffing needs.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.


Safety, Security & Compliance



  • Promote a culture of safety throughout the operation.
  • Conduct safety observations and facility inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with airport, client, company, and governmental regulations.
  • Support incident investigations and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures when necessary.
  • Assist with security-related protocols and operational readiness initiatives.

Qualifications

Required



  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Experience managing or leading frontline teams in airport operations, transportation, parking, hospitality, customer service, logistics, retail, or a related industry.
  • Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience coordinating multiple employee groups within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak travel periods.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.


Preferred



  • Airport operations experience.
  • Parking management experience.
  • Experience leading Cashiers, Shuttle Drivers, Valets, Customer Service Representatives, or similar operational positions.
  • Knowledge of revenue control, transportation, or parking access systems.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospitality, Transportation, Aviation, or a related field.
