The Branch Sales Team Lead is responsible for the day to day supervision of an Account Representative sales team dedicated to the development of accounts in a branch. The Team Lead will organize and lead their team in a way to ensure that all accounts have adequate coverage and to promote TTI's customer and market objectives. The Team Lead will champion for his/her team sound business and quality principles that support TTI's reputation and mission statement. This individual is responsible for providing direct guidance and support based upon his/her own sales experiences to ensure growth in key areas such as sales, gross profit, and active numbers of customers within a defined account portfolio. Reports directly to the Sales Manager and/or General Manager.

Our Branch Sales Team Lead:
- Supervises a group of sales individuals, who are aligned in a team concept, to support the objectives of the branch. (sales, gross profit, active customers, sales ppm and on-time delivery)
- Coaches and develops the team by utilizing clear and consistent communication while utilizing appropriate motivational techniques that instills trust. Identifies individual areas for development while acknowledging those who exceed expectations.
- Ensures that customers have been properly qualified by team members and that appropriate documentation has been captured that accurately defines the opportunity associated with each account. In turn, makes recommendations to Sales Manager as to what TTI resource is appropriate to be assigned based upon defined DSAM.
- Initiates communication and collaborates with the Account Representatives and/or the Sales Manager on significant quotation opportunities in an effort to improve chances for winning business. Proactively escalates any customer issues that could negatively affect TTI's business, relationship, or image with the customer.
- Analyzes assigned area of responsibility giving focus and direction to the team on profitability and pricing strategies based upon competitive, market, and customer dynamics. Encourages individuals to make sound pricing decisions based upon the unique set of circumstances and known facts.
- Organizes and performs, on a weekly basis, quotation opportunity reviews with team members to identify best opportunities and ensure that appropriate priority is assigned. Helps ensure that opportunities have been properly qualified.
- Reviews and documents quality records for team members in both on-time percentage and sales errors.
- Perform Account Representative accountabilities for specific customer account base. These responsibilities include - selling company products and services via telephone, internet, e-mail and fax. Working in conjunction with Field Sales Representatives, Product Management, and Sales Management to increase customer penetration and sales opportunities. Success is measured by meeting defined sales objectives and performing all duties with a high ethical standard and exceeding all customer requirements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires a HS Diploma or GED; Business related bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to two years of demonstrated successful performance in an Account Representative role preferred.

- Interacts effectively with department managers, individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
- Arrives on time to work scheduled hours and supports local time zone of assigned geography.
