Function: Maintenance Job Summary:This position is accountable for providing technical planning support for instrumentation and electrical work associated with plant shutdowns, outages, and turnarounds. The I&E Turnaround Planner is responsible for converting approved turnaround scope into safe, detailed, and executable work packages that support schedule development, material readiness, contractor alignment, and field execution.The position works within the Work Management Information System (WMIS) and applicable turnaround planning systems to develop detailed job plans, prepare work packages, estimate labor, coordinate materials and services, define testing and commissioning requirements, and support execution readiness. The planner maintains ownership of assigned I&E turnaround work from scope validation through closeout and lessons learned. The planner works closely with Operations, I&E, Maintenance, Engineering, Reliability, Procurement, Warehouse, Turnaround Management, Contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure turnaround activities are properly scoped, planned, scheduled, and executed. The position is responsible for ensuring work plans incorporate CF standards, government regulations, site safety requirements, applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and sound instrumentation and electrical maintenance practices. Position Requirements: 1.Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or Controls Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field with two years of relevant industry experience; or Certified Journeyman Electrician, Instrumentation Technician, Fully Qualified I&E Maintenance Technician, or equivalent trade professional with a minimum of five years of industrial I&E maintenance experience.Previousplanning, turnaround, or supervisory experience preferred. 2.Experience planning shutdown, outage, or turnaround work in an industrial, chemical, refinery, fertilizer, power generation, or manufacturing environment preferred. 3.Strong communicationskills including the ability to effectively communicate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, Contractors, and Leadership. 4.Demonstratedability to coordinate work across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve safe and efficient execution of turnaround activities. 5.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and decision-making skills. 6.Strong working knowledge of industrial instrumentation, controls, analyzers, electrical distribution equipment, motors, protective devices, calibration, testing, commissioning, and safe work practices. 7.Ability to read and apply P&IDs, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, one-line diagrams, logic narratives, cause-and-effect documents, data sheets, equipment manuals, and technical specifications. 8.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and capable of effectively utilizing WMIS, SAP, or equivalent maintenance management systems to develop work plans,maintainplanning data, and support turnaround execution. 9.Ability to perform field walk-downs, evaluate work execution constraints, gather planning information, and develop practical I&E execution strategies. 10.Working knowledge of labor estimating, contractor coordination, resource planning, material management, schedule logic, system turnover, testing, commissioning, and work execution sequencing for turnaround activities. 11.Results oriented with strong initiative and ownership. 12.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. 13.Must be able to climb towers, enter confined spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds. 14.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, andmaintainstrong attention to detail and organizational skills.
