The Opportunity

The Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting in the Barry S. Miller College of Business Administration at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for two (2) 9-month, tenure-earning assistant professor positions. This opportunity is open to both early-career and experienced faculty. Expected start date is Fall 2027.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Ph.D. in Accounting (or closely related field) from an AACSB-accredited institution by the time of hire.

  • Demonstrate an ability to conduct high-quality behavioral accounting research.

  • Demonstrate commitment to teaching excellence.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Research interests and methodologies align with those of our current faculty.

  • Published in top-tier accounting or management journals, such as The Accounting Review, Accounting, Organizations and Society, Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, and Management Science.

  • Demonstrated strong teaching performance.
