The Lead CIAC Specialist, NY CIAC Strategy, Governance & Advisory serves as a statewide subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Contributions in Aid of Construction across NY. This individual provides expert interpretation of applicable tariffs, regulations, and Public Service Commission orders, translating complex requirements into practical guidance, consistent business decisions, and defensible company positions. Operating in a highly matrixed environment, the role consults with Connections, Design and Engineering, Customer Connections Policy and Support, Pricing, Legal, and Regulatory stakeholders. The successful candidate will frame complex issues, assess regulatory and business implications, facilitate alignment, and recommend solutions for high-risk, novel, or precedent-setting matters. This is an individual-contributor leadership role with statewide influence. It combines deep subject matter expertise, consultative problem solving, governance leadership, and regulatory judgment to promote consistent CIAC application, strengthen documentation, and support customer and compliance outcomes.
