Birthing Center Assistant - Birthing Center

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Birth Center Assistant (BCA) functions within the policies & procedure of the organization, and Birthing Center services, which encompasses the clinical, clerical & technical activities of assisting the unit with providing safe patient care & environment at all times. She/he will maintain a safe clean physical/clutter free environment. The BCA functions under the direct supervision on the Birthing Center Registered Nurse.

EDUCATION:

High School Graduate or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

Previous patient care experience and medical terminology helpful.
