Position Title: Inventory Receiving Specialist Wage: $23.00 - $26.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday - Friday) Feeling underpaid or undervalued? Inventory Receiving Specialist Responsibilities: - Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality - Verify product quantities, measurements, and documentation against purchase orders or receiving records - Identify and document broken, damaged, or defective goods - Investigate and resolve count discrepancies and receiving errors - Accurately record inventory and receiving information in the appropriate systems - Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate identification and storage - Work closely with warehouse and other internal teams to resolve receiving and inventory issues - Perform mathematical calculations related to inventory, measurements, quantities, and shipments - Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies - Assist with problem-solving related to receiving discrepancies and inventory accuracy - Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient receiving area Requirements for Inventory Receiving Specialist: - Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in warehouse receiving, inventory, or a related position - Strong understanding of warehouse receiving processes and inventory procedures - Strong math and measurement skills - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills - Ability to identify discrepancies, count errors, and damaged goods - Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when resolving issues - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Comfortable working in a warehouse environment IND012 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
