Overview ABOUT THE POSITION VHB's I-64 offices (Richmond, VA; Virginia Beach, VA) are seeking a Transportation/ Traffic Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027. Our team works with public, private, and institutional clients to support a variety of projects. Our services include design of multilane highways and interchanges to the reconstruction of arterials and local roads, bridges, small intersection improvements, on- and off-street bicycle facilities, operational analysis, multimodal planning, conceptual design, traffic impact analysis, parking analysis, and safety evaluations. We collaborate across our footprint with numerous other VHB groups on many of our transformative projects. Responsibilities
Performing various aspects of discipline design as directed by a senior or lead Engineer including conceptual studies, program requirements, design analyses, calculations, systems selection and layout for transportation projects

Qualifications
The hourly pay range for this position, located in Virginia, is $19 to $30. The actual hourly rate offered will be determined based on job-related factors, including geographic location, internal equity, experience, credentials, skills, education, work schedule, and other factors permitted by law. The posted hourly range reflects base pay only. Additional compensation and benefits available to eligible employees are outlined in our Total Rewards Program.
