Your Job

Molex is seeking a Digital Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and continuous enhancement of Molex's external API platform within the Digital Customer Experience organization. This role serves as the primary digital owner for the platform, responsible for defining the product vision, prioritizing requirements, and delivering capabilities that enable seamless digital engagement with distributors, customers, and industry partners.

As the primary owner of the platform, you will partner closely with commercial excellence, marketing, customer experience, IT, and business unit stakeholders to identify opportunities, align priorities, and translate business needs into scalable digital solutions. You will leverage customer feedback, usage analytics, and industry trends to drive product decisions, expand adoption, and maximize the business value of Molex's digital integrations and data services.

What You Will Do

  • Own and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Molex's external API platform, balancing business priorities, customer needs, technical feasibility, and long-term digital objectives.
  • Serve as the primary digital owner for the platform, providing direction and prioritization for product enhancements, integrations, and future capabilities.
  • Build, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, translating business requirements, customer feedback, and strategic objectives into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead a team of data and integration engineers through the design, development, testing, and release of digital capabilities and supporting services.
  • Participate in the agile product delivery processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, backlog prioritization & refinement, stakeholder reviews, and release communications.
  • Define and govern API documentation standards, onboarding materials, and developer enablement resources to support partner self-service and adoption.
  • Serve as the primary business contact for distributors, direct customers, and digital platform partners, supporting onboarding, integration planning, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, customer service, business units, master data, and IT teams to ensure alignment between digital capabilities and business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, increase digital adoption, and deliver measurable business value through new platform capabilities.
  • Monitor platform usage, customer adoption, and integration performance to identify enhancement opportunities and roadmap priorities.
  • Develop and maintain reporting, KPIs, and value realization frameworks that measure adoption, consumption, operational efficiency, and business impact.
  • Communicate platform strategy, roadmap progress, investment priorities, and value realization to business and executive stakeholders.
  • Support emerging digital initiatives, including AI-enabled integration experiences, agent-based workflows, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) enablement, by defining use cases and evaluating business value.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, digital transformation, business systems, customer experience, or related roles.
  • Experience managing digital products, customer-facing platforms, business applications, or system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, data integrations, and digital ecosystems.
  • Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams to deliver solutions from concept through implementation.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with experience developing metrics, dashboards, business cases, and executive-level communications.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions and drive alignment across organizational boundaries.
  • Experience managing competing priorities and multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience working in B2B manufacturing, electronics, distribution, or industrial technology environments.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, developer portals, and API lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake, MuleSoft, PIM, or other digital solutions.
  • Experience managing distributor, customer, or partner-facing digital products.
  • Knowledge of Agile product management practices and software delivery methodologies.
  • Experience developing adoption, value realization, and ROI frameworks for digital products and initiatives.
  • Exposure to AI, digital agents, MCP, or other emerging customer engagement technologies.
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams without direct authority.

For this role, we anticipate paying $130,000 - $165,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
