About the Job

The position will be involved in construction of the TURBO telescopes and interpretation of data from the telescopes in New Mexico and Crete, Greece. The candidate will help with issues in the computers, and software on campus in Minnesota, and apply expertise and experience to solve a wide range of problems.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* 50% Troubleshooting problems with software and hardware
* 20% Communication of issues with TURBO telescope team
* 30% Analysis of data acquired by the TURBO telescopes

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
* Need to have a BA/BS in Physics or Astrophysics

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Python, computer hardware, and automated telescopes.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $20/hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
