OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Testing Technician for our Palm Bay, Florida site. In this role, you will bridge the gap between track operations and engineering by defining testing sequences, collecting vehicle data, and tracking testing progress. You will be responsible for providing clear instructions to test drivers, compiling results, and delivering critical feedback to our engineering teams. Additionally, you will oversee test track surface maintenance, propose duty cycles, and support LEAN continuous improvement initiatives. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Instruct test drivers on duty cycle requirements and sequence
- Develop testing matrices and procedures for the Palm Bay test site
- Generate testing advancement reports
- Coordinate testing equipment such as acquisition boxes, weights and special accessories
- Assess the test track conditions and coordinate its maintenance, repairs, and improvement initiatives to ensure safe and effective testing operations
- Monitor and support data acquisition equipment and provide debug support
- Analyze vehicle data and develop post-processing calculations to support engineering evaluations and performance assessments
- Coordinate drivers and mechanics in the absence of the test site supervisor
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES::
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Experience with data acquisition systems, data analysis, and post- processing methodologies
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate with various engineering teams and requestors
- Excellent organizational skills with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for simplifying and automating processes
- Knowledge of CAN-bus communication protocol
- Minimum 5 years experience in product development and testing

Preferred Skills
- Programming experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar engineering and data analysis tools
- Experience with Power BI, and related data analysis tools
- Familiarity with vehicle testing, validation, and durability development processes
- Experience supporting instrumentation, telemetry, and test automation initiatives
- Practical experience operating off-road vehicles and marine products in a testing environment
