A Service Center Associate at The GIANT Company or Giant Food helps customers at the front desk. They process returns, handle cash registers, sell lottery or stamps, and answer questions with a friendly attitude. Core Responsibilities Customer Care: Greet shoppers, answer phone calls, and solve customer complaints or requests. Cash Handling: Run the register, process returns, issue refunds, and sell special items like lottery tickets. Store Support: Keep the service desk clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Teamwork: Work with other cashiers and store workers to keep lines moving fast. Job Requirements People Skills: Friendly, clear speech, and a helpful attitude. Basic Math: Ability to count money and make correct change. Experience: No prior experience is often required for entry-level part-time roles. Physical Needs: Standing for long shifts and light lifting.
