The University of Iowa Department of Surgery is seeking a Temporary Professional Employee to instruct annual Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention courses for eight (8) weeks each summer, for a total of approximately 16 hours. Responsibilities Include: * Manage online communications and productivity platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, etc.). This includes setting up, hosting, and trouble-shooting online meetings. * Teach Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention (TCAFP) courses * Maintain TCAFP certification Schedule: This position is expected to work up to 2 hours each week between July and August of each year. Required Qualifications: * Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention certification * Experience setting up, maintaining, and trouble-shooting online meetings * Excellent written and verbal communications skills Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any conviction history and will be subject to a criminal background check and credential/education verification.
