What You'll Do:
  • Support the design, development, integration, verification, and testing of advanced space-based systems.
  • Develop and analyze system requirements, architectures, interfaces, and performance models.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, firmware, and systems engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support digital signal processing (DSP) algorithm development and system performance analysis.
  • Perform statistical analysis, modeling, simulation, and validation of complex space and communications systems.
  • Support hardware integration, prototype development, system test activities, and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
  • Participate in Agile development activities and cross-functional program execution.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, test engineering, or space systems development.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting requirements development, system architecture, verification, validation, or requirements management activities.
  • 3+ years of experience working with digital signal processing, communications systems, RF systems, or related technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience using engineering analysis, modeling, simulation, or systems engineering tools.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience with Python development and engineering analysis tools.
  • Experience supporting SmallSat or CubeSat development programs.
  • Experience with FlatSat environments, hardware prototype development, hardware integration, or hardware-in-the-loop testing.
  • Electrical engineering background with a focus on communications systems or digital signal processing.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Agile hardware, software, or firmware development practices.
  • Experience with Digital Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, MagicDraw, or Cameo.
  • Experience supporting space payload design, development, integration, and testing.
  • Knowledge of Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, Communications Theory, or Information Theory.
  • Experience with MATLAB and related DSP toolboxes.
  • Knowledge of radar processing, RF signal processing, Monte Carlo analysis, phased arrays, or beamforming technologies.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen.
  • Overtime: May be required based on program schedules and business needs.
  • Work Arrangement: 100% On-site.
  • Work Environment: Advanced aerospace and defense engineering environment supporting space systems, communications technologies, and mission-critical programs.
