Position Title: Warehouse
Wage: $17.00 - $18.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm This Warehouse position in Loves Park, IL offers an excellent opportunity to gain warehouse operations experience in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role involves supporting order fulfillment and operating material handling equipment, making it ideal for individuals interested in logistics and warehouse management. Warehouse Responsibilities: - Pull customer orders from warehouse and place in correct shipping containers - Safely operate sit-down forklifts and high reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve goods within the warehouse - Label containers with accurate information - Utilize RF scanners to update inventory levels and maintain inventory accuracy - Pack and prepare orders for shipment - Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks after certification - Maintain a clean work area and ensure safety standards are followed - Work in a hot or cold environment, standing, walking, bending, and twisting for extended periods - Lift up to 40 lbs continuously throughout the shift - Work at heights up to 35 feet on cherry pickers as needed Requirements for Warehouse: - Proficient on a high reach forklift and sit down forklift - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred - Ability to work effectively in a team environment with attention to detail - Ability to work on-site in a distribution warehouse environment IND017 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
