Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, courtyards, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorized access, observe visitor activity, and maintain awareness of conditions that may require follow-up or escalation.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related activities while following Allied Universal and site policies for assigned equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
