Responsibilities

Valley Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking compassionate and dependable volunteers who want to make a positive impact in the behavioral health community.

Volunteers provide valuable non-clinical support to our patients, staff, and hospital programs while gaining exposure to a healthcare environment.

Volunteer Activities May Include:

  • Supporting hospital and community events
  • Preparing materials for patient activities
  • Assisting with engagement activities
  • Helping with approved administrative projects and special initiatives

We're Looking For:

Individuals who are dependable, respectful, compassionate, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Volunteers may be required to complete applicable background screening, orientation, confidentiality/HIPAA training, and other hospital onboarding requirements.

This is an unpaid, non-clinical volunteer opportunity. Volunteers do not provide patient care or replace hospital employees.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High School Degree preferred
