Job Description




As a Security Officer Armed Driver in Donna, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and drive as needed to support security-related operations. Your visible presence will help to deter incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entry and exit points, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, trespassing, and other policy violations; document observations and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain required armed post equipment and complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
