Support business decisions by leveraging qualitative and quantitative data, analytics, and business intelligence solutions. Identify opportunities, solve complex business problems, and support strategic decision-making. Transform data from multiple sources into meaningful insights, dashboards, and recommendations that improve operational performance, enhance efficiency, and drive business outcomes. Work independently with stakeholders across the department to understand business challenges, develop analytical solutions, and communicate findings to leadership. Advanced skill set and proficiency with procedures and analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple sources, including structured and unstructured data sets, to drive insights into business performance and support achievement of key business objectives.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns and prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations that enable informed decision-making, improve operational effectiveness, and drive measurable business results.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, dashboards, and BI solutions that provide actionable insights, increase visibility into performance metrics, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas for operational improvement, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions that enhance business performance and efficiency.
  • Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives, enabling leaders to optimize resource allocation and business outcomes.
  • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders and provide business strategy recommendations that drive operational improvements, mitigate risks, and support achievement of organizational goals.
  • Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad hoc report requests within the business area, delivering timely insights that support business priorities and decision-making.
  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements, ensuring outputs effectively address business challenges and performance objectives.
  • Build working relationships with team members and subject matter experts to align analytical solutions with business needs and accelerate the delivery of impactful results.
  • Lead small projects and initiatives, ensuring successful execution, stakeholder alignment, and measurable business value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Advanced skill using business intelligence applications and/or cloud services
  • Advanced knowledge of business intelligence tools and data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Advanced skill using statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis
  • Advanced skill in complex data manipulation across multiple tables
  • Skill communicating data analysis and visualizations to nontechnical and senior audiences
  • Skill with data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R
  • Intermediate skill in utilizing work products to tell a story through appropriate balance of visualizations, design aesthetics, and words
  • Research skills
  • Interpersonal skills
