Position Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, leading, and securing new funding from a variety of sources, including US Government, bilateral agencies, multilateral agencies, foundations, and corporations to achieve or surpass new business and fundraising goals. While the Business Development Manager works across all funder types, significant experience successfully leading proposals and bids for USG opportunities - including full-cycle capture, positioning, and submission - is strongly preferred. Some international travel is possible; length of travel will range from 1-3 weeks at a time. The position reports to the Public Business Development Sr. Director.
