Inova Physical Therapy-Tysons/Vienna is looking for an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our outstanding team. This position is PRN or as needed for intermittent coverage needs working Monday - Friday. Clinics Hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00am -7:00pm, Friday-7:00am to 4:00pm We offer 1:1 patient treatment model, a formal mentorship program and a commitment to continuing education and personal growth. Physical Therapist PRN Job Responsibilities:
- The Physical Therapist PRN selects evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for the patient's diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans.
- Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
- Perform re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
- May perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
- Licensure: Virginia Physical Therapist Licenser or Physical Therapist compact privileges required upon start
- Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
