- Ability to work under minimal supervision for design questions or technical problems.

- Understanding of the function of relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, panel building and other control items.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of CAD design tools
- Understanding of shop methods, industry standards and wiring procedures

Required Education / Experience
- Associate's Degree in Control circuits, equivalent training in the Armed Services or approved equivalent in the industry with minimum 3-5 years design experience.
Preferred Experience/ Education
- Working knowledge in designing with E3 wiring Program
