Aerospace Dynamics International, Inc. (ADI) manufactures machined parts and assemblies for the commercial and military aerospace industries. ADI was acquired by PCC in April 2014. The company has received significant capital investments since the acquisition and has a highly positive growth trajectory ahead. Comprising four facilities on its campus in Valencia, CA, ADI has over 250 full-time employees on staff

Position Summary:

The IT co-op/intern, under supervision will be responsible for providing IT support starting with training and entry-level work to support the Aerospace Dynamics International Inc. facility. Over the course of the internship, the IT co-op/intern will be able to provide end-users support of hardware, software and networking, as well as preparing documentation of processes and system administration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Apply principles learned in school to hands-on situations
  • Under supervision, request, configure and install workstations, printers, cell phones and related components
  • Learn, help maintain and update IT asset inventory, including addition and decommissioning of assets
  • Assist in organization of decommissioning and disposal of assets
  • Research spare parts and create requisitions to maintain proper inventory levels and for end-user support
  • Learn and help set up, maintain, and repair user accounts and computers on various systems ranging from Active Directory to enterprise business systems in accordance with all IT procedures and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Seek manager's input on any situations that are unclear.
  • Assist with server patches and other required security vulnerabilities
  • Create documentation of common processes
  • Perform other duties as necessary or appropriate to the position

  • Reliable, detail oriented, and able to accomplish assigned milestones.
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly with minimal training.
  • Ability to work independently and follow procedures, checklists and informal instructions. efficiently and accurately.
  • Pursuing a degree or certification in Information Technology or related curriculum.
  • Current Junior or Senior in College or graduated within the last 6 months

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20.00 to $23.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 0 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
