UMKC is seeking applications for a full-time, tenured/tenure track, (or non-tenure-track) faculty member for the position of Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. We seek an innovative leader in ongoing development, assessment and improvement in educational outcomes in dental education. Candidates should have commitment to institutional missions in teaching, research/scholarly activity, service and organizational quality improvement. Candidates should have experience with the accreditation processes and preparation and have demonstrated successful leadership in the American Dental Education Association or discipline specific professional organizations. Experience in curricular design, pedagogical theory, didactic and clinical assessment methodology is essential. Candidates must have education and academic experience commensurate for the rank of Associate or Professor. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a 12-month, benefit-eligible, full-time (1.0) faculty appointment eligible for ranked promotion.
