Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
- Basic computer skills with experience using inventory management systems, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, inventory procedures, and safety documentation.
Experience Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory control, fulfillment, shipping/receiving, or operations support.
- Experience with inventory transactions, cycle counting, order fulfillment, and material handling.
- Forklift, stand-up order picker, or other powered industrial equipment experience preferred.
- Experience working in a regulated, quality-controlled, manufacturing, healthcare, or distribution environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management software, ERP systems, and barcode scanning technology preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material flow processes.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to assist in equipment breakdown, disassembly, and decommissioning projects.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S, process improvement, and documentation control.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record preferred.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 25-50 pounds regularly, with occasional heavier lifting.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and stooping throughout the shift.
- Ability to operate forklifts, order pickers, hand trucks, and warehouse equipment safely.
- Manual dexterity for packaging, inventory transactions, documentation, and equipment operation.
- Ability to work in both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled warehouse environments.
Job Duties
- Manage inventory, materials, and warehouse stock while maintaining compliance with quality and operational standards.
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer and internal orders for shipment.
- Process receiving, shipping, returns, transfers, and inventory transactions accurately.
- Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
- Operate forklifts, order pickers, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Build crates, assemble protective packaging, and prepare products for safe transportation.
- Assist with equipment breakdown, decommissioning, reverse logistics, and scrap processing activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management and tracking systems.
- Support Lean and 5S initiatives to improve efficiency, organization, and workplace safety.
- Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and operational records.
- Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while supporting daily warehouse operations.
