Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $17.00-$20.00 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm; 4:00pm-12:30am QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator position available at a company in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up, operate, and monitor industrial machinery and production equipment according to standard operating procedures. - Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products. - Perform routine quality checks and take measurements to verify finished goods meet specifications. - Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and perform basic preventive maintenance. - Complete daily production logs and tracking paperwork accurately. - Transport materials, components, and finished goods using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment. - Operate material handling equipment (e.g., sit-down forklift) as required. - Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace adhering to 5S standards. - Strictly follow all facility safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies. Machine Operator Requirements: - Required minimum of 1 year of machine operator or manufacturing experience. - Must have mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills. - Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or technical instructions. - Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks preferred. - Basic math and computer skills for production logging. - Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly. - Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods (8-12-hour shifts).
