Summary
Our CDC Program in Atlanta is looking to add a Project/Program Analyst for printing support. The qualified applicant should have experience providing a variety of project administration support services involving data review, reporting, project coordination, and other related duties.
- The candidate will manage all print requests for CDC stakeholders. The job includes estimating, managing project budget, vendor relations, and consulting with/advising stakeholders. The candidate must have experience managing print jobs.
- This position is a hybrid with a mix of remote and onsite days each week. The onsite work occurs at CDC's Roybal campus.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the customer in planning, managing, and monitoring print services projects through its life cycle;
- Work on overall project planning through reporting on project schedules and deliverables;
- Brief customers on the status of action items and metrics to track performance;
- Review incoming print requests and accompanying print files for accuracy, inspect printing and resolve problems concerning defective printed products or non-compliance with specifications to ensure the customer's requirements are met;
- Review incoming Print Requests and accompanying print files providing estimates for customer approval;
- Consult with customers and print contractors ensuring clear specifications, feasible prices for print products and that CDC, GPO (Government Publishing Office), and JCP (Joint Committee on Printing) guidelines/processes are followed;
- Review proofs and explain any technical matters; contact prospective bidders to obtain quotes and work with Print Services to assist in poster/banner orders;
- Complete print specialist award work (e.g. review/signature/selection) and assist staff with bid receipt, purchase order completion, file transfer, proofing notification, forwarding, and all other miscellaneous office requirements, including the pickup of finished products;
- Issue change orders/modifications to cost/delivery schedules and others; and review, research and resolve invoicing for Print Services working with GPO and OFR (Office of Financial Resources) to ensure accuracy and validity of charges; monitor project timelines;
- Identify, communicate and resolve risks and issues to eliminate or mitigate the occurrence of consequences that may impact the success of Print Services projects.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience or a minimum 6 years of experience to satisfy degree and experience requirements.
- Proficiency in project management, scheduling, quality and timely delivery, and budgeting
- Ability to work in and understand a Print Tracking System and associated processes.
- Strong knowledge of print production techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Experience in operating and maintaining various printing machines and tools.
- Experience with vendor management including quote review, selection, performance evaluation and invoice review.
- Ability to apply careful attention to detail
- Self-starter; ability to move from initial assignment to completion; good follow-through and problem resolution skills
- High initiative; able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptable; ability to shift priorities when requested, and multi-task
- Good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well on a team
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance
- Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with, or experience in public health, health, communication, and CDC, GPO, and JCP guidelines/processes regarding printed material
- Active NACI clearance

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
