Day Shift

Hours 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

Availability Needed:


  • Available to work on Tuesdays
  • Availability to pick upadditionalhours;potential to work up to3-4 days a week


The ideal candidate has:


  • Experience in Sleep
  • Experience with spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion studies, bronchodilator responsiveness testing, and methacholine challenge testing.
  • Experience working independently in a pulmonary diagnostics setting


Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist II role provides independent, high quality respiratory care across a variety of clinical settings and patient populations. Independently applies clinical knowledge in most practice settings and can demonstrate clinical reasoning and decision-making. Able to assess patients, develop and adjust respiratory care plans, and manage complex patient needs within established standards and protocols.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license in Respiratory Care required. RRT certification required. Must have RRT certification to advance to a Level II. Current BLS Certification required within 30 days of start date. Current ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications as required by facility, or must obtain within one year of start date
  3. Experience: Minimum of one year of Respiratory Therapy experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
