WHAT YOU WOULD DO:
Design, implement, administer, optimize, and support enterprise V Mware, VDI, Windows Server, RDS, and related systems infrastructure. Own V Mware Horizon/VDI architecture, performance, lifecycle, and support while partnering on storage and other shared infrastructure. Lead complex systems infrastructure projects and provide technical direction on scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable solutions. Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and shared Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and certificates. Plan and execute upgrades, patching, capacity improvements, and lifecycle changes while maintaining availability and minimizing operational impact. Partner with Cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to reduce risk, remediate vulnerabilities, strengthen resiliency, and support backup and disaster recovery readiness. Monitor performance, capacity, availability, and trends; improve automation, documentation, standards, and operating practices. Support physical server infrastructure as needed and maintain working knowledge of enterprise storage and growing cloud environments. Mentor Systems Engineers and other technical staff by sharing knowledge, reviewing approaches, and promoting sound engineering practices.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position. Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise V Mware vSphere/ESXi, V Mware Horizon/VDI, Windows Server, and related infrastructure. Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, storage, backup/recovery, and hybrid cloud environments is expected. Power Shell, scripting, or automation experience is desirable. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage competing priorities independently, mentor technical staff, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Employees are compensated within the established salary range. As skills, experience, and sustained performance grow, pay may progress within the range over time, with midpoint serving as a general reference point for employees who demonstrate full proficiency in the role.
