Facilities Planning and Development.

Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a professional analyst supporting capital planning, institutional facilities reporting, financial analysis, and enterprise system data integration for Facilities Planning & Development. The position coordinates and validates multi-campus data, prepares and manages key reporting deliverables, supports development and implementation of reporting frameworks and methodologies, and facilitates business operations and compliance activities to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely institutional reporting and decision support.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates development and preparation of the annual facilities reports including capital appropriations requests, capital project plans, facilities inventory and design and construction reports. Collaborates with campus stakeholders to collect and evaluate financial and non-financial data, resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy of submissions. Coordinates final compilation, review routing, and distribution of the capital report for Associate Director review and approval.
Collaborates with the Trimble Administrator to ensure reporting requirements are met and supports integration of facilities and financial data across enterprise systems.
Develops, supports, and implements planning methodologies, policy guidance, and standardized reporting frameworks for capital planning and facilities reporting. Ensure consistency across building inventory, operations, design, and construction reporting; and supports continuous improvement of reporting processes.
Trimble System Specific Responsibilities: Project Setup; User Provisioning; Template Maintenance (documents, budgets, schedules, mail merges); Account Configuration Changes; Onboarding and training new users; User Technical Support; Manage report and folder subscriptions; Review monthly and quarterly product release notes - educate user base regarding new functionality and product enhancements.
Coordinates financial, contract, and business operations activities supporting Facilities Planning & Development, including consultant and construction contract processing, procurement and expenditure tracking, and compliance monitoring. Maintains organized records, supports operational procedures, and facilitates cross-campus coordination to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant operations. Assist in reviewing certified payrolls for the prevailing wage coordinator.
Coordinates preparation of Board of Curators materials and other facilities documentation and manages publishing, organization, and maintenance of policies and procedures for the FPD website.
Other duties as assigned.

Shift

40 hours a week Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, or a related field is required. Three years of professional experience in financial analysis, institutional reporting, capital planning, or related analytical/administrative functions is required. Experience must include working with complex data, preparing reports, and coordinating across multiple stakeholders or units. Experience with Trimble Unity project management system, or others is preferred. Must process a valid State of Missouri driver's license.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000 per year

Grade: GGS 010
