Engineering Technician - Semiconductor Manufacturing Applied Materials \| Gloucester, Massachusetts PAY RANGE: $28.00 - $32.00 PER HOUR (Depending on Experience) Plus Applicable Shift Differentials Available Shifts: 1rst Shift: 5:30 pm - 4:00 pm (Monday through Thursday) 2nd Shift: 3:45 PM - 2:15 AM \| +10% Differential (Monday through Thursday) 3rd Shift: 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM + 13% Differential (Monday through Thursday) 4th Shift: 5:45 AM - 6:15 PM \| +11% Differential (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) Why This Opportunity?Are you a hands-on Engineering Technician who thrives in a fast-paced semiconductor production environment? What You Will Do Perform electro-mechanical testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting and assembly. Build and support electronics, electro-mechanical systems, prototype models and specialized test equipment. Troubleshoot component-level and system-level electrical and mechanical issues. Support new system installs, NPI activities and field upgrades. Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts and technical instructions. Maintain logbooks, technical documentation and test procedures. Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum and process testing. Generate quality notifications and complete rework based on test results. Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering activities. Required Technical Skills Hands-on manufacturing or production experience. Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum and process systems. Experience with hand tools and power tools. Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings and engineering documentation. Experience with electrical test equipment, meters and diagnostic tools. Knowledge of fiber-optic communications. Ability to write technical reports and procedures. Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred. Mechanical Skills Required Strong build, assembly and fabrication skills with experience using precision measuring devices. Nice To Have Experience with PMAC motion control systems.
