JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking an accomplished Technology Security Engineer with extensive experience in security infrastructure and comprehensive knowledge across multiple security domains. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing security solutions throughout our environments. This position requires exceptional technical expertise and a proactive approach to safeguarding critical security infrastructures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Design, deploy, and manage secure environments across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Implement robust security controls and configurations to protect cloud-based systems and sensitive data]
  • Partner with security architects and IT teams to ensure comprehensive security integration across IT infrastructure
  • Establish and enforce security best practices for security applications, including code review, vulnerability assessment, and secure development methodologies
  • Develop and implement endpoint protection strategies for devices, ensuring adherence to security policies
  • Deploy encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), and access control mechanisms to safeguard sensitive data in transit and at rest
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain enterprise security tools including EDR, DLP, and automated compliance solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to champion security best practices
  • Work closely with IT, operations, and development teams to ensure projects meet all security requirements
  • Create comprehensive documentation of security architectures, configurations, and processes for compliance and audit purposes
  • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education


  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field


Experience


  • 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with significant cloud environment expertise
  • Demonstrated success implementing and managing security solutions across multiple security domains
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their native security services
  • Experience with enterprise security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection) and cloud-native security services


Licenses and Certifications


  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS/Azure Security certifications required
  • Additional certifications in specialized security domains or cloud security technologies preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Comprehensive understanding of security principles, best practices, and technologies
  • Proficiency implementing and managing security controls across diverse domains
  • Advanced capability to assess security risks and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to incident response and remediation
  • Superior communication skills for effectively conveying technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • Commitment to remaining current with emerging security trends and technologies
  • Exceptional adaptability to new challenges and evolving security landscapes
