Job Summary Location: 15 Corporate Park Drive, Pembroke, MAJoin a patient-centered imaging team where your technical expertise, attention to detail, and compassionate approach make a meaningful difference. We are seeking a per diem Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while supporting a positive, reassuring experience for every patient. About the Role In this per diem role, you will provide coverage to support department needs, including filling in for vacations, leaves, and sick calls. You will be responsible for performing a variety of technical activities associated with mammography imaging, including patient positioning, equipment operation, image quality evaluation, and procedure support. This position requires direct patient care and a commitment to delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate service in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities *Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures using appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. *Position patients accurately and compassionately, using immobilization when necessary to support image quality and patient safety. *Select proper imaging modes and exposure factors to produce high-quality diagnostic images. *Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and obtain additional images as needed. *Prepare and set up medical supplies using aseptic technique when appropriate. *Explain procedures clearly to patients and help create a supportive, comfortable care experience. *Recognize the needs and behaviors of patients across age groups, including differences in growth, development, aging, understanding, and physical limitations.
