Overview

As a Landscape Architect for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Nashville, TN office, you'll lead and contribute to the planning and design of a diverse range of private- and public-sector projects. You'll collaborate with CEC's multidisciplinary teams of landscape architects, ecologists, civil engineers, and land surveyors to develop creative, practical solutions that meet client and project needs. Your work will include landscape and land planning design, site layout and grading, CAD design, site plan renderings, preparation of bid packages and specifications, and quality control reviews.

You'll also have opportunities to manage projects, participate in public presentations, build client relationships, and contribute to business development efforts. This role offers the opportunity to combine technical design expertise with project leadership and client engagement while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

    Manage and contribute to landscape architecture and land planning projects for private- and public-sector clients
  • Develop landscape and land planning designs, site layouts, grading plans, and site plan renderings
  • Prepare and coordinate CAD-based design drawings and project documentation
  • Collaborate with landscape architects, ecologists, civil engineers, land surveyors, and other technical professionals
  • Prepare bid packages, project submittals, and technical specifications
  • Perform quality control reviews of plans and project deliverables
  • Prepare for and participate in client meetings and public presentations
  • Support client relationship development, networking, and business development activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture or equivalent; Master's degree preferred
  • Registered Landscape Architect
  • AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred)
  • InDesign
  • PhotoShop (Adobe Suite)
  • Lumion
  • GIS (ArcView) - not required but beneficial.
