As a Forklift Certified Clerical Supply Chain Associate, you will support warehouse operations within IDEXX's Memphis Distribution Center through a combination of receiving, clerical, and material handling responsibilities. This cross-functional role is responsible for accurately receiving inbound inventory using warehouse management systems, safely unloading and storing products, and supporting outbound distribution activities to ensure products move efficiently throughout the facility. This is a 1st shift onsite role, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM.

In this role:
You will receive inbound shipments using warehouse management systems and computer-based inventory tools, ensuring products are accurately entered into inventory. You will verify incoming products against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipment documentation while maintaining accurate inventory records. You will unload received product and safely transport inventory throughout the warehouse using powered industrial equipment. You will operate reach trucks, dock stockers, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and store materials safely and efficiently. You will put away received inventory into designated warehouse locations while maintaining inventory accuracy and organization. You will use RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and other computerized systems to track inventory movement, confirm transactions, and maintain accurate records. You will support picking, packing, labeling, loading, and shipping activities as needed to support operational priorities. You will verify item numbers, product descriptions, quantities, and inventory transactions to ensure accuracy throughout the receiving and distribution process. You will perform clerical and administrative inventory functions associated with receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations. You will collaborate with warehouse team members, inventory personnel, and leadership to support daily operational goals and changing business needs. You will maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while following established operational and safety procedures. You will participate in cross-training across receiving, inventory, clerical, and warehouse functions to support operational flexibility and team success.
What you need to succeed:
High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience (required). At least 2 years of warehouse, distribution, receiving, or inventory control experience (required). Experience receiving inventory and processing inbound shipments using computerized inventory or warehouse management systems (required). Strong computer skills, including experience working within inventory management, warehouse management, or ERP systems (required). At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts and powered industrial equipment, including reach trucks and dock stockers (required). Experience using RF scanners and computerized inventory tracking systems (required). Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with team members and leadership (required). Strong attention to detail with experience accurately reviewing inventory transactions, quantities, product descriptions, and shipment documentation (required). Ability to balance clerical responsibilities with hands-on warehouse and material handling activities (required). Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced distribution environment (required). Coachable, adaptable, and open to cross-training and continuous improvement opportunities (required). Fluent in English for both verbal and written communication (required). Comfortable working from varying heights while operating warehouse equipment and performing inventory tasks (required). Able to meet the physical and environmental requirements of working in a warehouse setting, including extended standing and sitting, frequent computer use, lifting up to 50-70 lbs., and working near moving industrial equipment and in varying temperature environments (required).
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM. Shifts and hours may vary slightly based on business needs. Reliable attendance is essential to supporting operational continuity and customer commitments.
