We are seeking a motivated Tooling Coordinator / Tooling Technician to support tooling operations within a manufacturing facility. Working closely with the Tooling Engineer, this role helps maintain tooling inventory, supports production operations, manages documentation, and assists with continuous improvement projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with equipment, and contributing to manufacturing process improvements.
Education Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred


Experience Requirements


  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good math skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
  • Inventory management or purchasing experience preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus


Job Duties


  • Maintain tooling inventory to support production requirements
  • Track tool usage, tool life, and inventory records
  • Assist with evaluating tooling and recommending improvements
  • Maintain tooling databases, drawings, and documentation
  • Convert paper drawings into electronic formats
  • Support tooling design, engineering projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with tooling setup, troubleshooting, and production support
  • Work with manufacturing teams to ensure tooling availability and efficiency
  • Analyze tooling and production data to identify process improvements
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing and cost-reduction projects


Physical Capabilities


  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility
  • Ability to safely handle tooling, equipment, and materials
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials as required
