About the Job

The Program Facilitator for the DHS Connecting Families grant will assist in organizing and implementing programs for individuals with disabilities and their families at the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain under PI Rebekah Hudock.

This individual will be responsible for:
20% material preparation
50% co-facilitating individual and group sessions
10% assisting in creating/locating/providing individualized resources for families
10% participant communication
10% data collection

Qualifications

Required:
Bachelor's degree
Interest in supporting individuals with disabilities and their families; availability in late afternoon and evenings at least 1 day/week; access to tablet/computer with a working webcam; reliable access to WiFi; fluent in speaking and understanding English

Preferred: background or experience as an educator, special educator, social worker, psychologist, school psychologist, therapist, or a related field OR pursuing an degree in one of these fields; knowledge of MN disability service systems (e.g., vocational rehabilitation services, special education transition planning, county/state disability supports (waivers, PCA, etc.)

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $30.00 per hour depending on education/qualifications/experience.
