Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an opening for a dynamic Safety Intern to add to ourPlant Human Resources Teamin Denton, Texas.

This position can be full-time or part-time within a 7:00 AM -3:30PM schedule. This position will be through December 2026.

Special Project Assistance including, but not limited to:

• Assist with job hazard and riskassessment.
• Assistwith developing electronic forms and tracking systems forinspections.
• Assist with benchmarking and gap analysis in preparation for ISO 45001:2018
• Develop new training curriculum and update existingcurriculum.
• Rotation through the plant production departments
• Assist with incident documentation, investigation, and root cause analysis
• Participate in JHAs. risk assessments and safe work planning initiatives
• Support in reinforcing a behavior based safety culture
• Other tasks asassigned.

The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business, or related program and have completed their sophomoreyear of college.
