JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The College of Liberal Arts seeks a part-time hourly graduate research assistant to support projects related to how parents and siblings guide and influence adolescents' digital use in the household. The position is for approximately 5-10 hours a week during the Fall 2026 semester with payment at $20.00 per hour. Duties include: * Assist with recruiting parent-adolescent dyads in State College area and online across the nation * Schedule interviews with eligible families * Conduct in-person or online interviews with one parent and one adolescent from each family * Assist with providing participant compensation after interview completion Required Qualifications * Currently enrolled in a PhD degree program at Penn State * Excellent communication skills * Strong project management, organizational, and planning skills * Experience with qualitative data collection and analysis * Self-motivation and ability to work independently, as well as ability to work collaboratively on a team Preferred Qualifications: * Interest in digital media use, family influence, and adolescent health To apply for the position, submit a resume or CV.
