| Position Summary |
This position provides operational and programmatic support for statewide program initiatives for the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (
EFNEP). The incumbent coordinates trainings and program resources, supports purchasing and budget-related activities, maintains program accountability and reporting systems, and serves as a key communication liaison with county faculty and staff. The position assists with the implementation of program operations and ensures the timely flow of information, materials, and documentation necessary for effective statewide program delivery. Administrative functions are performed in support of program operations and represent a smaller portion of the overall responsibilities. |
| Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with county faculty and staff and diverse audiences.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and activities simultaneously.
- Experience maintaining records, databases, and program documentation.
- Knowledge of budgeting, purchasing, and event coordination processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently with general supervision.

- Lifting, standing and organizing materials for statewide trainings
- Travel to Extension events, such as trainings or meetings held at extension offices throughout the state. Travel to campus storage space for material inventory and distribution.

Training and Program Coordination
- Coordinates statewide trainings, meetings, and professional development activities in support of program delivery. Responsibilities include registration management, travel coordination, facility arrangements, communication with participants, preparation of training materials, and logistical support before, during, and after events.
- Assists state staff in planning and implementing training initiatives that support county program personnel.

- Supports program purchasing and resource management activities by researching products and vendors, obtaining quotes, processing purchases, maintaining purchasing documentation, tracking expenditures, and coordinating distribution of educational supplies and materials.
- Assists with monitoring inventories and ensuring county staff have access to resources necessary for program implementation.
