Are you ready to play a visible leadership role in the future of power systems and grid modernization? Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Controls Lead to join our growing Grid Integration team in the Raleigh/Cary, North Carolina area. In this role, you will help deliver cutting-edge solutions across Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), Power Quality Solutions, high-voltage power systems, and other advanced grid technologies that support the global energy transition. As the Project Controls Lead for the Controls organization, you will serve as the key connection between highly technical engineering teams and project stakeholders. This role combines project leadership with technical oversight, offering the opportunity to influence project execution, guide priorities, manage risk, and support the successful delivery of complex power system solutions. The position is ideal for someone with a strong controls, SCADA, substation automation, or industrial control systems background who is looking to expand their leadership impact while remaining closely connected to technology. The role offers exceptional visibility, significant growth opportunities, and the chance to work on innovative projects that directly support modern power infrastructure. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. This is a hybrid position based in the Cary, NC area, with an expected presence in the office approximately 3 to 4 days per week. Relocation support may be available for qualified candidates.
