Job Summary Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Clinical Neuroimaging of PTSD and Related DisordersMcLean Hospital is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with a primary focus on investigating the neurobiology of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and related emotional disorders using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), including functional MRI. The fellow will be mentored by Nathaniel Harnett, Ph.D. and Isabelle Rosso, Ph.D., and will have access to the rich academic and scientific environments of McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School. The fellow will work on funded studies investigating the neural mechanisms underlying PTSD, depression, and anxiety, with opportunities to analyze functional and other magnetic resonance imaging data. A major focus of the position will be the analysis of resting-state fMRI data using multiple analysis approaches (including GICA, seed-based, network-based) across multiple datasets. The position offers substantial opportunities for scientific development, including leading manuscripts, presenting findings at national and international conferences, contributing to grant applications, developing new research questions using existing datasets, and building an independent program of research. The fellow will join a multidisciplinary and highly collaborative research environment that brings together neuroscientists, psychologists, psychiatrists, statisticians, and clinical researchers. Additional information about research at McLean is available at https://www.mcleanhospital.org/research Responsibilities With supervision and guidance, responsibilities of the Postdoctoral Research Fellow will include: *Conduct independent and highly specialized human-subjects research *Process, analyze, and interpret MRI data, with particular emphasis on resting-state fMRI data *Apply and, where appropriate, develop advanced neuroimaging and statistical analysis methods *Contribute to the design and implementation of research protocols *Troubleshoot methodological and analytic problems and instruct colleagues in specialized techniques *Synthesize and interpret results *Maintain organized and detailed research records, analysis pipelines, code, and documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks *Present research findings at lab meetings and national and international scientific conferences *Prepare and submit research manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals *Contribute to the preparation of grant applications and other scientific proposals *Assist in supervising research assistants and other trainees *Perform other research-related duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications Required:
