We are seeking an experiencedHome Health Registered Nursewith strong clinical judgment and a passion for accuracy, education, and process improvement to join ourQuality Assurance (QA)team. Ideal candidates will bringstrong working knowledge of OASIS and CMS home health regulationsandprevious experience using Epic for home health documentation (preferred). Summary:
Oversees data collection and submission programs for public reporting projects, ensuring data integrity, timeliness of submission, and that all regulatory requirements are met.

Responsibilities:
1. Provides leadership and consultation for programs of data collection and submission for public reporting. Ensures data integrity.
2. Responsible for the coordination of data flow between the hospital and vendors prior to dissemination to data warehouse and internal customers.
3. Implements and evaluates the timelines for data submission and transmission.
4. Provides budget input for assigned area. Develops and makes recommendations regarding budget record keeping for future budgetary planning and budgetary requirements. Tracks trends and developments that will impact budgetary requirements.
5. Responsible for the Physician Quality Assurance/Peer Review program.
6. Maintains and oversees the maintenance of the reporting database(s).
7. Develops or revises data procedures related to regulatory requirements.

Education Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* RN NC LIC required
* CPHQ or CPHRM preferred
Professional Experience Requirements:
* If a Bachelor's degree: requires four (4) years of related experience and/or training.
* If an Associate's degree: requires eight (8) years of related experience and/or training.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conforms to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
