Phlebotomist I Location: Youngstown, OH 7600 Southern Blvd Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM \| Wednesday: 8:00 AM-6:00 PM \| Friday Off Duration: 2.5 months HM is looking for candidate to have 1 to 2 years experience. Will be working alone in a GYN office TB vaccine req Job Summary We are seeking a Phlebotomist I to join a GYN office in Youngstown, OH. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. This position requires someone who is comfortable working alone and providing a positive patient experience in a clinical office setting. Key Responsibilities Perform routine venipuncture and blood specimen collection from patients. Follow proper procedures for patient identification, specimen collection, labeling, and handling. Provide professional and compassionate customer service to patients. Communicate effectively with patients and address questions or concerns professionally. Work independently and manage daily phlebotomy responsibilities in a GYN office setting. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow established laboratory, safety, and infection-control procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to specimen collection. Follow all applicable company policies and laboratory procedures. Remain attentive to detail while performing patient-facing and specimen-related duties. Work effectively in a setting where the phlebotomist will be working alone. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience Strong venipuncture and blood specimen collection skills Ability to work independently Strong customer service skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Color vision is required Additional Information No conversion opportunity at this time.
