Location: Youngstown, OH 7600 Southern Blvd

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM | Wednesday: 8:00 AM-6:00 PM | Friday Off

Duration: 2.5 months

Job Summary

We are seeking a Phlebotomist I to join a GYN office in Youngstown, OH. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. This position requires someone who is comfortable working alone and providing a positive patient experience in a clinical office setting.


Key Responsibilities


  • Perform routine venipuncture and blood specimen collection from patients.



  • Follow proper procedures for patient identification, specimen collection, labeling, and handling.



  • Provide professional and compassionate customer service to patients.



  • Communicate effectively with patients and address questions or concerns professionally.



  • Work independently and manage daily phlebotomy responsibilities in a GYN office setting.



  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.



  • Follow established laboratory, safety, and infection-control procedures.



  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to specimen collection.



  • Follow all applicable company policies and laboratory procedures.



  • Remain attentive to detail while performing patient-facing and specimen-related duties.



  • Work effectively in a setting where the phlebotomist will be working alone.




Required Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or GED



  • 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience



  • Strong venipuncture and blood specimen collection skills



  • Ability to work independently



  • Strong customer service skills



  • Good communication and interpersonal skills



  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment



  • Color vision is required




Additional Information
