Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The UNC Adams School of Dentistry Division of Craniofacial and Surgical Care provides a diverse approach to treatment for patients with craniofacial or oral and maxillofacial conditions, including those with multiple or complex oral health problems. The Orthodontics discipline focuses on the treatment of irregularities of the teeth, jaws, and bite relationship in children and adults.
Position Summary
The Research Technician position will assist staff in the Jacox Lab with study subject's recruitment, data collection, entry and visit organization. This position involves contact with patients, speech therapists, a canine therapist, and with other dental professionals.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Management Preferences
Demonstrated experience working in a team environment, study subject's recruitment, data collection, entry and visit organization.
