Job Responsibilities
- Assist in proper project planning, developing work packages, and preparing production indicators/benchmarks, and developing the master schedule.
- Interpret design/drawings for crafts installing material. Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors. Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
- Provide engineering input to the daily job log.
- Interpret production goals from work packages for craft supervisors, ensuring full understanding to enable daily communication of productivity goals to crews executing the work.
- Verify quantity tracking data and measure productivity.
- Track progress of the major Vendors and Subcontractors to ensure that materials are manufactured and delivered in a timely fashion as not to impact the project schedule.
- Identify, document, and estimate costs of extra work activities, which were not anticipated in the original scope, and provide proper notification and financial reporting of change orders. Establish and maintain a project change order log that ties to the UAR.
- Provide electrical construction technical support including voltage/amps specification, circuitry diagram analysis, and grounding.
- Assist estimating of installation of various electrical systems, equipment selection, and proposal evaluation, requisitioning, and coordinating equipment delivery.
- Interpret electrical design/drawings/circuitry for installing electrical equipment, instrumentation, wiring, control systems including electrical system operations, troubleshooting, and performance testing.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Electrical engineering, Trade School Associates or construction management or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of heavy electrical construction engineering experience to include estimating, cost management, contract and subcontract administration, and project scheduling.
- Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods): engineering, estimating, schedules, and safety preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills essential.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement detailed solutions to complex technical problems.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be willing to travel.

Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, knowledge, qualifications, and performance. The compensation range for this position is $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 and is exclusive of any other benefit and/or bonus. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued growth.
